We sent our puppy Vito for training with Mike and it was the best decision. We noticed some behaviors in our dog we didn’t like or know how to fix. We tried training him ourselves but had little knowledge about the process. After talking with Mike we decided board and train was the best option. Since Vito has returned he is much calmer and listens properly to commands. The amount of progress made is unbelievable. Mike has been great to work with. He is very patient with us and Vito. Definitely was the best choice we made!
We’ve boarded our dog, Lady, with Mutts and Masters a few times now and it’s been great! Lady is a reactive dog so we always have issues trying to find a boarding place that will accept her and has the proper facilities and training to accommodate her. Mike (the owner) has tons of experience working with reactive dogs and has never had any issues boarding her. He is also always very accommodating and flexible. They offer a great price and do free drop-off and pick ups even though we are all the way in NYC. Definitely would recommend!!
Mike came on the phone and was so impressive! I gave my daughter and her husband a week of boarding and training for their reactive 100 lb German Shepard mix dog who was perfectly capable of biting. Mike won over the dog and in that short time, he made a lot of progress — teaching the dog to heel and to sit when his walker sits. The dog was so docile and clearly very happy- looking at Mike for approval. You really DO NOT have to look any further for dog boarding and training than M&MM!
My Boxer, Leo, just completed a 3-week obedience and training program at Mutts & Masters Manor, and the transformation has been incredible. He came back a completely improved dog—calmer, well-behaved, and responsive to every command. His listening skills and ability to follow directions have noticeably advanced. Amazing. They trained our Cane Corso girl in a home like environment. She spent three weeks at this place. She came back home behaving very well. She has completely transformed. She doesn’t touch anything that doesn’t belong to her. She walks perfectly on the leash. She follows commands. We thank you and appreciate the good work you did with our puppy.
I cannot say enough good things about Mike and his training! We worked with him since our dog was 14 weeks old and she is now the perfect dog! Bc of his expertise, guidance and patience, we can trust our dog in all situations. Our dog absolutely loves him! He helped her and us as owners gain so much confidence. Within 50 miles of Columbia, NJ, is included in board-and-train packages, or boarding a week or more in length. 20 miles for boarding less than a week in length. Out-of-area service can be included for an additional fee.
